Yesterday was spent wandering in a fairy tale landscape among wood anemones and budding birches. On the top of a hill there were fallen branches all covered in lichen. I couldn't resist harvesting some. Looking forward to some plant dyeing experiments, hoping that the lichen will result in brilliant purple yarn.
